WHO WE ARE

SIF was founded in 1991 as a company specialized in international logistics transport focused on providing a regional solution in the Mercosur to agents and clients around the world.

A few years after operations started in Argentina and with the support of important clients, we continued opening regional offices in Brazil and Chile, then the expansion crystallized with the opening of offices in Paraguay and Uruguay.

Over the years we have continuously made efforts to achieve excellence and accomplish a constant growth. Our success is based on our emphasis on the personnel’s professionalism, along with innovative procedures and the incorporation of modern technology.

Unlike the kind of assembly line used by most of the competitors and in the largest multinationals, our staff is organized in operations based on small teams. Most of our employees started their careers at SIF GROUP and after training, education and long-term development; currently they are part of the company’s backbone.

As an air freight forwarder, we mainly distinguish ourselves for our prompt responses, because that’s what the market requires and because you expect so. We offer innovative options by providing customized assistance with fixed contact points.

Our knowledge about sea transport is based on many years of experience; we coordinate sea transport and know the regional particularities. The SIF GROUP team will find the suitable, reliable and innovative solution.

We work in close cooperation with leading maritime agencies, thereby ensuring ship´s hold availability in all routes and with the most competitive rates.

Land

When it comes to land transport, your shipments will be in good hands through SIF GROUP. We plan and coordinate your shipments of bulk or break-bulk cargo throughout the Mercosur.

Our range of services also includes special and hazardous cargoes. SIF GROUP is one of the few logistics operators that started with this transport mode in Mercosur. We know what we do and we only work with experienced providers. We analyze the equipment to be used according to the cargo characteristics and care about the compliance of all safety rules.

Multimodal

The multimodal transport in the Southern Cone is an alternative solution to your time sensitive shipments or when because of the cargo characteristics or the geographical location of the origin/destination plants, is required a delivery or pick up on an international truck.

In order to provide this service, we have the support of our, solid operating structure in the main ports of the region and our experienced department of land transport.
